Overview
of Game:-
Shattered Galaxy is the first MMORTS game this planet has seen.
I've got the chance to beta-test the game during its early days.
Nexon, a "not-so-widely-known" game developing company
decided to let the public to view and play the game during its
beta phase. After a long period of time, resets, patches, bug
fixes and such, Nexon has the product finally in the shelves of
our stores...and the results are superb.
Whats a MMORTS?:-
They ways of Shattered Galaxy needs some explanation for
the newer players. Firstly, there is no building management. You
don't have the "build all you want" scenario in SG. SG
revolves around units, other heroes and factions. Resources in
forms of tributes comes every 10-15 minutes or so. However, if
you are currently in a battle, you WILL NOT receive the alert
ticker button. If you've figured out, this game is all about
battles and some unit management.
If your hero is attacked or attacks
a particular province with enemy heroes inside, the game would
immediately change into a squad-based strategy game. You can
control up to 12 units with a minimum of 6 in the battlefield.
If you are attacking, your goal is to conquer the map by taking
control of the POCs. Each POC requires a ground unit to stand on
it for 45 seconds, after which it will bear your faction's flag.
If you are the defender, you will need to prevent the attackers
from getting majority of the POCs. If either side fails, the
province will be taken by the respective winner.
After winning a battle, your Hero
and units gain experience points. Should your hero level up, you
will gain several attribute points that you can add to your
Tactics, Clout, Education and Mechanical Aptitude.
