Strategies:-
Sappers are mine-layers as well as poc clearers. Their role as a mine-layer is to flood the chokepoint or energy pads with mines, thus disabling enemy troops to go through the chokepoint or refuel. However, the poc clearing method is also a suicide mission.

Self-Destruct:-
Sappers have a special ability to Self-Destruct or SD. SD has a great effect, just like a nuke on enemy units. The trick to SDing is pretty simple. If you have 12 units, get 6 rocs and 6 sappers with SD, fly your way to the poc and drop your sappers there, with cloak ON. There, just activate your SD and you can see enemy units, lumbering helplessly away from the poc just to get blow to bits. If you don't have 12 units, you can however walk slowly to the poc and do the same thing, blow them up!
