The War Pigeon is also another Aviation Unit that is capable of mass destruction. By unloading its cargo (bombs), it can "bombard" the area underneath it. Each bomb you see on the map does the actual damage you see in your upgrading screen. That's why you notice that your HP drops rapidly when you are being pigged.
