Strategies:-
The Albatross, the opposite of a sapper, has the ability to lay Air Mines. Air
Mines are much more deadlier than Land Mines as they can be laid in much large
proportions and can be laid faster. The Albatross can also detect hidden enemy
units. It can detect Cloaked Units and Camoed Units. Its only defense against
land units is its concentrated energy balls which is fired from the discharges.
Air Miner:-
If you are an Air Miner, what you need is tactics. With 120 Tactics, you can lay
12 Air Mines with one press of a button. In order to mine in a straight line,
click on the final destination where you want your Albs to end mining and start
laying mines. The Albatross will continue on its path even after it has laid its
mine. This allows you to quickly lay mines without the hassle of clicking
eternally. Also, if you need to detect hidden enemy units, press the respective
button to activate the Sensor Array ability and the hidden units will show up
depending on what sensor you have equipped. If you have the Cloak Sensor
equipped, once you activate the ability, cloak units will begin to be more
visible to your allies. If you have the Camo Sensor, camoed units will appear
with a YELLOW outline around their avatar. Make sure you target the camoed units
once it is detected, or else it will disappear after the Albatross has left or
has been destroyed.
Also, you need fairly strong air mines that can penetrate armor (as in causing damage after armor is subtracted). It is rumored that the TL81 Albatross Air Mine is bugged but I'm not sure. Some people say that Owls with 30 armor and above cannot be hurt by the TL81 Air Mine. But mine seems to work fairly well.
